Referrence a Model as a completed Meshwork all you like, it's a sloppy example. They are three separate terms for a reason. The structure of the characters are the same.
You're confusing terms. The textures and meshes are what you see on the outside. The models are the body structures, proportions, etc.
I started in beta 2 and played until my group, and I cleared the first released content of Cata in roughly a month after release. I never see myself coming back, but I certainly don't hold any hard feelings about how, "terrible wow is," or some such.
But why I'm giving that background is, when we first did the raid…
Upping your post for the info, but the models are still pretty much the same thing. Updated textures and meshes aren't "models." But the more fluid animations do look nice.
The only difference I see there is that they changed the skin textures and head models. Otherwise, the armor is armor. I'm sure they'll provide a wider demonstration of "new character models" than this. But based on that small snippet, that's severely lacking.
But, I'm just a commentator here, haven't played in years.
Caverns of time =P Been there, done that.
Sounds like you'll finally face off with Kil'jaeden and bring the game to a close.
No shit right, what xpac are they on? 16? I'm 31 now, and I was playing that game when I was like 13.
Thanks! :O)
You as an individual are irrelevant to the conversation really. It's the format that the misinformation was presented in, and the misinformation itself that's the issue.
The idea that you want to reply with an ad hominem response and ask whether "you" as a person had an effect is simply vain.
As to whether I am…
"So while you typed a lot here, really your response is summed up rather concisely as, "It sucks that they removed the ability to fly other ships." As every other aspect of what you typed is standard to the other games."
"While as you say, it'd be nice to have the freedom of selecting which ship I make my main ship to…
Perhaps I played a different series of X3 games, but in my fleet I had multiple carriers, destroyers, etc. All of which I relegated to being in my Wing and performing duties/killing targets via my commands.
While as you say, it'd be nice to have the freedom of selecting which ship I make my main ship to fly around in,…
You replied, but your reply has no text =)
Well, people are getting the wrong idea regarding the ship system in the new game. It's true as you stated that you won't be able to directly pilot the big ships; until it's modded, but you are still able to have an entire fleet of capital ships and such at your direct control.

You still get to have a fleet of ships at your control, and even land on them if they're carriers; then walk the hall ways or go to the bridge, they've just removed the pain of flying huge slow/turning ships and placed them under your direct control with in depth commands.
You can, Delryn is being either willfully disingenuous about his responses, or he's ignorant of the mechanics of the new game.

You can purchase and control a fleet of ships, just like the other games. You are not able to sit in their pilot seats directly though. They act as your previous ships did in the other games of being part of your wing and follow complicated commands.
You're being disingenuous with your statements. You ARE able to acquire multiple ships, and control those ships. You are not however able to sit in the pilot seat of those ships. When someone says that "the point of the game is to acquire multiple ships" and you tell them you can't that's simply either a lie, or…
You can still own a fleet of carriers and lead them into battle. You can still even land on a carrier you own and walk to it's bridge and watch a battle that you're controlling, but you yourself are not "piloting" the other ships, no.
