You're being disingenuous with your statements. You ARE able to acquire multiple ships, and control those ships. You are not however able to sit in the pilot seat of those ships. When someone says that "the point of the game is to acquire multiple ships" and you tell them you can't that's simply either a lie, or

You can still own a fleet of carriers and lead them into battle. You can still even land on a carrier you own and walk to it's bridge and watch a battle that you're controlling, but you yourself are not "piloting" the other ships, no.

Oh, don't get the wrong idea. I've successfully built up my own empire via multi-tiered mining/space weed farming/trading stations, then proceeded to take over the entire galaxy. The game isn't difficult, it's just ponderous. For those who aren't used to the depth of what true open world games bring to the table, it

I am right there with you. I've beat X3 Terran Conflict, but I never finished Albion Prelude. I love the depth of the game, but it's just slightly too directionless for me. I love sandbox games, and I've sunk a LOT of hours into the X3 games, but the fact that I can just wander all over distracts me. Unfortunately,

Meh, consoles don't hold any interest for me. A good space sim sequel on the other hand does.

That's not to knock other people's love of consoles, simply that my gaming unit of choice has been a pc since I was 11, 20 years ago =P

Bah, I can't edit nor delete my post. After I thought about it I completely got my characters mixed up and was referring to Tenel Ka, not Tahiri. Feel free to x either of those responses.

It's a sap.

Tahiri was never portrayed as having a sense of humor, nor was she; As a princess with her royal family surrounding her, ever forced to grow up on her own.

Tahiri has a sense of humor and lost her parents? Since when?

The girdle and braid could be a bit better done, but over all, very good.

Well, generally if Amazon puts something on sale and there's a pc equivalent it's also on sale. Also as mentioned, Steam tends to do Black friday deals, so like you said, I just plan to be patient and see.

Figures =)

Rick Grimes, not Rock Grimes.

But I would be quite entertained to see The Rock as a zombie.

Well, to be completely transparent, that was me in my early to mid twenties. Now in my thirties I'm just a dirty old man =D

I think it's a "if you can't say something nice, don't say anything at all" situation with the Wii U. :)

Skip the articles that are controversial?

I hate to sound cliche here, but no one forces people to read the cosplay articles, controversial articles, women's rights articles, etc. Yet people; this is not implying you, always find a reason to bitch about how Kotaku shouldn't focus on XY and Z. But you alone are the

I've had three different girl friends ask me to explore "rape fantasies" that they had. All of them were raised in normal homes and weren't products of abusive environments. So while there wasn't any torture involved, asking someone to inflict pain (spankings are even a form of this) isn't so odd.

That being said,

You know what I want? I want THIS dragon quest again.

Yea, I should have mentioned I'm a pc gamer as well. Here's to hoping that Steam or Amazon has it for sale during black friday.
