Well, I mean, to kill 3 million people you have to almost say, "Well Done! You must get up very early in the morning. I can't even get down the gym! Your diary must look odd: “Get up in the morning, death, death, death, death, death, death, death – lunch- death, death, death -afternoon tea - death, death, death -

I guess it depends on the scale at which someone is considered a dictator. Can it be regional or does it have to affect an entire nation/country, etc.

Now playing

I like how it depicts Hitler correctly. Since he was a vegetarian painter, you know one day he just couldn't get the trees right and decided, "Fuck it! I'll just kill everyone in the world!"

Oh no, they stated quite clearly especially during their final night count down that they had all donated to the kickstarter fund, but that they used paypal instead of Amazon.

"We did put quite a bit of our own money into the project as well as the Kickstarter campaign."

"He didn't say he backed his project's campaign on Kickstarter."

Not sure why, it's been a staple on this site for quite a while.

He states that he and his team had already donated. So it's not a matter of if they were going to, or if that's what prevented their goal.

Oh, and you'll also note, the individual who started this kickstarter states he donated to the kickstarter, and simply didn't feel the need to donate more.

You'll find my response to this in my first reply to you :)

Everyone involved with Obsidian's Project Eternity kickstarter donated to their own, and very publicly at that. Giving multiple interviews stating as such even.

"Can you explain being $28 away from your dream in a better way?"

You're allowed to donate to your own kickstarter. Feel free to check out Obsidian's kickstarter and note that everyone on the dev team state they contributed including the starter of the campaign.

You realize that donating to your own project is completely acceptable right? Sorry, that's rhetorical. You wouldn't have made this comment if you did.

"Exactly, not on the alternate account portion because you do need a credit card/paypal and you can't exactly have as many spare ones as you please." Yea, I addressed that in my replies. I've donated to kickstarters myself and I've increased the donations within the last few hours. It was more of a, "if kickstarter

Ultimately this boils down to one thing. He and his team likely donated too much during the kickstarter to make it appear as if there was interest, to donate more. It's the same as a beggar placing a dollar in his hat/cup etc, to get people thinking, "well, other people gave him spare change, I guess I will too."

Ultimately the fake email account doesn't even matter, I agree. He could simply have bumped his own contribution up, as I mentioned. And as it takes time to process, just donate over the grace of what's needed, as it's coming back to you in the end anyhow. It lets you at the least snag the other 49k that wasn't yours.

This clearly just sounds as if he allowed it to fail in fears that the kickstarter would cost his project more money than it's worth in the long run.

If he's already placed his family's well being on the line with his own funds and development of the project, I'd be best to get the 50k, finish it, and sell the end result to another company to recoup.
