Same here. In Nier I was five minutes from getting out of the tutorial and earning the ability to save when the last boss cornered me and basically insta-killed me because I didn’t have perfect reflexes on dodging yet. The controls are just so weird.

I’ve been struggling a bit lately with games that just don’t babysit you. Metroid Dread. Super Metroid. The original Legend of Zelda. All classics of course (jury is maybe maybe still out on Dread) but just very different to approach when you’re my (our) age and your career/family eclipse your free gaming time.
