Next week on "Orange is the new Navy" Jerry is surprised by a familiar face.

Please show us the method by which you divined the fact that the purchasers were on social welfare. If it can determine such things with a literal absence of evidence then I'm sure it deserves a Nobel Prize.

Depends. We talking beer snobs, who while being the most annoying people in the world to run into at a bar or restaurant, don't typically advertise it too much.....or your typical beer bro with a natty ice hat, no shirt, yelling WOOOOO at the top of his lungs playing beer pong?

He's just...turrible.

Did you read the piece? It pretty much covers all the reasons. But I'll summarize for you. He makes stuff up to suit his point of view and yet has some reputation as an intellectual. Also, he is the consummate example of the Media Establishment Figure that sucks up to power instead of speaking truth to it and is

I don't read his column

David Brooks is the worst. I have no joke or clever statement to follow that. He's just... terrible

I started a new job at Deadspin about three weeks ago, and I endured a tough first stretch. That was, in part,

Oh, fucking hell. It is a bald-faced lie that Penn Station doesn't "function." It is a monument to function. It fucking works, every bit of it, every fucking day. It is the transportation nexus of New York City. Yes, the ceilings are low. It is not a giant waste of space like the sculpted Grand Central's Grand Hall,

"She is rather large and we're going keep her overnight for observation, but I see no reason to say that your daughter can't someday shop at Wal-Mart in a giant fucking Tweety Bird t-shirt."

"Good to know I'm not a bad feminist for loving regular sex..."
