No it isn’t. The Tegra X processor inside the switch is far more powerful than the chips inside the OG iPhone and that came out in 2007. 

Good for you, but you were complaining that the controllers are too small. They are NOT too small, it is a portable console and they need to be portable. They sell a larger controller, the pro controller.

The Switch isn’t any different than the PSP or Vita that came before it, both the PSP and Vita could be plugged into a TV and played on the big screen. I really want this. I was actually thinking earlier that they don’t make purple joycons. Plus the Mickey home button is amazing. They should sell this here, I would 100% buy this. Hell just sell me those joycons. 

I am not a big fan of the Switch Pro Controller, it just feels slightly off enough to be weird. It feels like an off brand 360 controller, but like a slightly higher end one.

So Tomb Raider dropped in price so fast because there are so many other games I can spend $60 on that I would rather play so they dropped the price to encourage people to buy their game instead. Game price doesn’t need to go up, making game price go up only gives the CEOs and executives more money, it won’t change a damn thing for the developers. We need regulation and oversight for the industry as a whole.

I think the $60 price has nothing to do with the video game industry and far more to do with the US economy as a whole. Wages in the US have stagnated for decades and disposable income has never been less. Video games have to sell for $60 if they raise their price they will sell far fewer copies when the games launch…

I would say this just means we won’t get one this year, not that we aren’t getting one. I would bet next year or the year after we will see a “Pro” model.
