ID.3 will do just fine in Europe, it’s only not gonna do well in the US. But yeah, if VW wants to move these in the US, they need to plop a Tiguan body on this thing pronto.

With demand collapsing across the EV sector (Tesla’s so desperate to move S, X and 3 that the “we will never change prices” guys just dropped list prices across the board) it’s hard to see how this was VW’s “most important car in decades”.
I’m holding out hope that it is acknowledged how much better the air is right now and the powers that be do something to keep it clean
Build ships in non-US shipyards? Fuck you!
Fuck off with the sanctimonious posturing.
Because this isn’t facebook? I realize Jalopnik isn’t MotorTrend or the L.A. Times, but I expect better. Otherwise what’s the point in visiting the website? I can read rants with no citations on FB, or on youtube comments or some other cesspool of misinformation anytime.
“Production cars often imitate design elements of race cars to make them look sportier, but fat sidewalls have ruled in the top levels of stock car and open-wheel racing for decades.“
Yes, because the rules limited those particular classes to a small diameter wheel. Large diameter wheels have been used in every other…
lol, i swear to god that most men in this country seem to think they are the size of Juggernaut from the comic books when they are most certainly not.
Sad but true 😩✋
It’s really about your resistance to claustrophobic feelings. I’m 6'4", 225lbs. and much smaller people than I complain about the perceived lack of space in my MR2T from the passenger seat. Meanwhile, I have less room on the driver’s side and I feel like the car is wrapped perfectly around me. It helps that I don’t…
Bro, that can’t be right. If you’re over 6'0" there’s no way you fit in anything short of an impala. The 5'10" guys around here can’t even fit in a corvette without issues. And you can’t be any taller than 5'6" to fit in there with a helmet for track days. 5'2" is the limit on an FRS/BRZ with a helmet, and no way…
I’m 6'3" and actually felt great in the C8. Granted, entry and exit is a pain in the ass, but who gives a damn. I also enjoyed the cocoon/cockpit feeling created by the bolsters and center column, so unless you’re expecting something different you should be just fine.
I’m 6'7" and fit in it during the dealer tour. It really depends on where you carry your height. I actually fit in the C8 better than the C7 (in the C7, I’m staring at the visor). I have long legs and a normal torso, there was a guy in front of me about my height where he carried more in his torso, and his head was…
6' is pretty close to normal these days. I’m SURE this car can accommodate someone 6' tall. I’m 6'2" and have no problems in any modern sports car.
Another reviewer (Cleetus McFarland) is something like 6'6" and says he fits much pretty well in the C8; even more so compared to the C7, but not quite as well as the C6.
I think we’re far closer to solving nuclear fusion than convincing Karens to use the correct lane.
BITCH BITCH BITCH
If we properly educated American drivers about lane etiquette and, well, driving, there’s no reason our interstate highways couldn’t be a fast as the German Autobahn. They’re designed for aircraft landings and troop transport, after all.
Who is going to sit highest on their horse?
It stinks of fake doesn’t it? Game is out two months and there is a $1.4 million character sold and resold. Almost like someone wanted people to search for the name of the game. I know it sounds absurd, but.... It is absurd.
