Does Maserati carry over this shifter design? It sounds the same, but I’ve never had a problem with it. On the test drive, I momentarily thought reverse was park, but that’s pretty obvious when you lift your foot off the brake, and easy to catch without the car actually rolling.

There’s just a lot of room in there. In my CTS-V, my helmet hits the ceiling and I have to cock my head sideways, but in my Elise I can fit the palm of my hand between my helmet and the ceiling.
I’m 6', 200+ lbs. I have to slide the seat 3 clicks forward to reach the controls in my Elise. Someone 6'4" would have no problem driving one.
I imagined it. It was boring. Would not recommend.

80 consecutive 12 sec runs is about 16-17 minutes at WOT. A 20 gal tank in 17 minutes would be about 1.18 gal/ min.
I’m imagining a polished up Corvette parked in the LeMans hot pit with a bunch of fat old dudes sitting around it in lawn chairs, just staring at it, as the rest of the field races.
