Yeah I miss them for sure. I went in a Gamestop for the first time in like...years the other day and while it wasn’t as bad as people say (the girl that helped was actually very nice and not pushy at all) it ain’t no Funcoland.

Now that you mention it...I guess ours stuck around for way too long somehow. I mean there two Gamestops within like 15 minutes of it and managed to keep it’s branding. Sadly, it did finally succumb to the Gamestop but yeah..it hung in there.

This reminds me that my friend in high school never returned my PS1 copy that I bought from Funcoland for like 60 bucks. That damn game commanded that kind of price in like 2006.

I looked at this last week, there’s a few old Patrols floating around that don’t seem to have reached the absurd prices old Land Cruisers are currently at. BaT had a gorgeous one for like 12k not long ago with a removable hardtop.

I didn’t have a very hard time with them once I got the parrying and blocking down, what I didn’t enjoy was the patience required to beat them. You had to change things up a lot and I felt like I was playing For Honor. Most other enemies you could drown in a flurry of attacks, not the Dark Elves.

When I was growing up my friend’s dad was a German car mechanic. He had his own garage and would routinely drive customer cars home to get a feel for the problem and work on them there after dinner. No way. My dad paid a negligibly higher amount for a near mint 2001 SL500 in silver....not some ass color. It had the sideskirts and the optional staggered AMG monoblocks, flawless interior, and none of the headaches associated with the V12. Oh and 30k miles.

Oh man...that is brutal. Weren’t the ones that came with the 20th anniversary console a little different from the regular 20th anniversary controllers they offered briefly by themselves?
