I cut cable a long time ago and I’m a hockey fan in southern Virginia. This means my options for watching a game are very limited so I’ll end up there sometimes. I just don’t eat the food...and drink..a lot.

I honestly don’t know if I can bring myself to watch a Caps game this season. I think last season broke me. Like on a deep soul crushing level.
That’s going to be heart breaking if they don’t try and retain Hobbs, Buxton, Matchett, etc. I grew up watching F1 with my dad when Speedvision had the contract (before it was SPEED) and those are the only guys I’ve ever known...well and Bob Varsha.
Yeah that’s kind of where I am. The pre-order stuff totally shafted me and I ain’t got time to stand in line. I have an hour for lunch and called all the gamestops in the area because I thought I’d grab one then but unsurprisingly they were all out. I guess I’m waiting for the next shipment.
I have a group of friends that I play R6 with almost every other day and they were all big SOCOM guys back in the day. After like 2-3 games of this over the weekend they were all giddy as could be saying “THIS IS JUST LIKE SOCOM IT’S AMAZING.” So far this is the only game that’s been able to draw our attention away…
I never played FS so cannot really comment, but it if you ever played the old PS2 SOCOM’s then you’ll quickly get the feel for this.
It works very well. It’s not debilitating at all. Just a slight blur to let you know someone knows where you are and that they’re sending rounds your way.
Yeah I’m afraid to look how much time I spend on that game....it’s frightening. That being said, this PvP is the only thing that’s drawn my friends and I away from Siege in like over a year. It’s an absolute blast. We spent all weekend on it.
Obligatory
I had a 2.5RS sedan for years. I miss that car dearly. Every time I see a picture of a GC/GF it hurts.
They did indeed exit passenger side on the originals. Why though? I don’t know.
EDIT: there are spoilers for the first LOS if you read my comment. It’s an old game but maybe someone still wants to play it.
Fingers crossed it plays sort of like a successor to SOCOM.
Southerner here, don’t blame us for that Kid Rock shit. Michigan has always been that way.
Yep...doesn’t matter how careful I am. EVENTUALLY something is going to happen to a wheel. I had nice wheels on my last two cars and both suffered curb rash after a few years. Granted it was very little but I’m super OCD about my cars so it drove me nuts. I left the stock wheels on my most recent car. They’re OEM…
That’s what I was thinking. I skipped ahead a little as they were approaching the side and then I was like....”wait what am I looking at...THAT’S INSANE”
I’m a sucker for 80's and 90's coked out body kits.
My dad had one of these, it was identical to Farah’s in every way except it had black leather. I wish it was still in the family because I’d kill for it now. It was definitely not a sports car. Thing was 8 tons and you got the feeling the door could snap a leg in half if it shut on you but that was all part of that…
I grew up in the South in an old railroad town. I’ve seen a train every day for the better part of my life. The only you get hit by a train is if you are hugely stupid or it’s on purpose.
Yep...I’ve loved those ever since tiny me first laid eyes upon it’s many egregious scoops. I still badly want one. Sure, the inside rattles like pebbles in a soup can, it probably leaks, and maybe a modern V6 Camry could outrun it now but dammit I don’t care. I need it.
