I hope you find a better way to deal with this. I know there must be some hierarchy (whether it's starts or time of posting or this) but it's much more time-consuming to read the comments than it was before.
I agree! It was annoying when I was still a pink commenter, but the reason Jezebel is almost the only place where I do read comments is that it's so heavily moderated. Sure, it's not always fair but it makes it much nicer and more accepting place.

Could it be that where adoptions are not possible for same-sex couples it's still easier for woman to get pregnant or even to adopt child as a single parent and then raise the child with her partner than it would be for a man? It could be that there simply more lesbians who are parents.
