J.K. Rowling’s Harry Potter books have become such an integral part of the way we all live our lives, sometimes we take aspects of them for granted.

Darth Maul was a badass warrior who defeated Qui-Gon after successfully holding off two Jedi at once. I’d say his reputation is much more earned than Boba Fett’s is.

“I’m not saying she’ll be a horrible character or anything, but can we at least see Phasma in action before crowing her as such? Otherwise we’re just kinda being amused by shiny objects. Literally.”

Recently, Disney released their revised galactic map for the galaxy far, far away, and it included Rakata Prime, a major planet from KotOR and TOR. Since this is the new canon map and Rakata Prime only holds any importance in KotOR and TOR, I assume this means those stories are canon.

This is my pick, as well. It has the best visuals of opening to a Star Trek show, and Gerry Goldsmith just nails it with his theme. The A section of the theme is bold and optimistic, just like our band of brave explorers, and the B section of the theme is dark and mysterious, like the space they are exploring. It

We still know so little about this film but I’m already 100% in. Lowering the stakes and making them personal instead of literally Earth-shattering only makes the stakes feel higher. The fact that they have built up these friendships over almost a decade worth of films is now really paying off, because now when we see

I think it is a bunch of empty rhetoric, personally, since the success of this film have everything to do with how well written and acted the film is, and very little to do with whether creatures were muppets or mo-cap, whether the backgrounds are real locations, matte paintings, or CGI, or whether the spaceships are

If the film is truly done, I am actually really impressed, because some films are still in post until days or even hours before release. Right now, Abrams is probably kicking back like a college student who finished their term paper with days to spare.

Yup. That’s a movie. And you have proof that he made the film for no other reason than because of greed? How about Spielberg and Ford? Are they implicated in this conspiracy to rob helpless movie goers of their money, too?

The only people who ever call George Lucas greedy are the disgruntled fanboys who have never actually met the man.

I realize that, but that doesn’t change the fact that Moffet seemed to be influenced by The Dark Knight in particular, as have a host of other people in the industry.

I thought of Sherlock while reading this article, also, and the shift in Moriarty’s character from genius crimelord to obsessive fanboy who needs Sherlock to “complete” him made me a lot less interested in the show. Moffet’s Moriarty seems very influenced by Nolan’s Joker, aslo, so I wonder if The Dark Knight helped

Seriously. Someone once asked me, “What is the one thing that might make you walk out of The Force Awakens?”, to which I replied, “Other people.” Honestly, if the film sucks, I can handle that. But I will be really disappointed if my viewing experience is tainted by being seated people determined to hate the film.

Space Mutiny was my first pick, also. The whole thing is such a travesty and the fact that all of its space footage is just B-stock from the original BS:G just adds to the hilarity.

Not to mention Bryan Fuller, who got his start on Voyager and has already said he’d like to return to the franchise.

Uh...“The new television series is not related to the upcoming feature film “Star Trek Beyond,””will introduce new characters”.

No, we have already decided that CG is killing movies. Don’t it real, or don’t do it at all!!!! *sarcasm*

Great pick!

The rogue demon hunter himself.
