I'm not talking about Ricciardo, many drivers have done that. It was surprising for Vettel because he was able to show a side of him not seen in his past 4 championships. he actually showed desperation and channeled it into a 9 spot surge.

This weekend showed how great a driver Vettel truly was and still is. He started at 15th and powered past half the grid to get to 4th. Not a lot of drivers can do that, you gotta respect Vettel for that.
