I am Dutch and have never in my life heard the word "ransel" being used as a substitute for backpack, only as a word to describe physical punishment. The more you know!

The percentage and how it effects physics are also a scalable system that that they literally display, and in code is similar as well. Yes you'd have to test things, but it's more likely that when you correct issues across a couple percentages, that it would work for the others since you're just scaling the hit

Yep, that's a great writeup and quite a bit more detailed than I was expecting!

Depends.

XSEED also back-ported all the additions from the PSP version. From the Steam Page:

"Returns" it was a PC game to start with back in 2004, it had it's 10th anniversary recently.

Dude, this is a PS1 game.

They problem with this was the ps1 was almost incapable of rendering straight lines when doing full 3D scenes and things warbled around hilariously.. That'd be hard to emulate in something like this.

What...the graphics are way too fucking good for ps1...

"Were the comments largely demonizing Temkin and saying he must have raped someone, I would have been defending Temkin and reminding folks that false accusations do happen. I'm sorry it didn't come off that way, I didn't mean to villify him."

Yes. Exactly right. In the original article (and comments), it's very clear that Patricia absolutely did not presume innocence.

This time I didn't even need to read past the first reason to recommend the article. Hit the nail on the head. Great job Kirk, and thanks to Kotaku overall since I've noticed as of late you have been covering more aspects and topics surrounding PC gaming [culture] instead of just the games that are coming out on PC.

Wow, so all of our comments on this topic from the original post are gone now? I just checked my notifications center and I get a permissions error when I try to see my own post from the old thread.

I am generally in favor of discussions on consent. I think it is very important, and I think this sort of thing does have a place on Kotaku when it can be tied to games, though I find the link of Cards Against Humanity kind of tenuous.

But more importantly, if you insist on having this discussion using

I considered that option. There wasn't a perfect way to go. I don't like the idea of people finding a dead link to that old article, but I also assume that on the Internet people can find an archive of any article they want to see. We discussed this internally and we decided that the comments below this article should

Though their next character, Ellie, made up for it quite a bit.

My main complaint about the entire article is that it comes off as some SJW's tumblr post. If I wanted that, I'd go to tumblr. I am a 6"4, fairly fit, white male who suffered from physical abuse from a girlfriend, who was more then a foot shorter then me. Know what happened when I tried telling people? She found out,

Its like when Latinos pronounce their Spanish names in an English accent. Why do that if you can pronounce your Spanish name properly in its original accent. It doesn't make sense. A lot or Latino news reporters are pronouncing Spanish named cities in Los Angeles properly now. I think that's great.
