My experience is with a VW pop top Eurovan. Very cool but since these haven’t been made new and available in the US for many years, it seems like an RTT would turn a lot of vehicles into something comparable. I think it’s true that the biggest hassle with car camping is all the time it takes to set up and move your

I remember seeing PR about the new Flex and then eventually I saw one in person. It was a turn off because it was far larger than I thought it would be. Since then I got a family, bought an old Eurovan and have much more appreciation for spacious family haulers that aren’t dumpy minivans or hulking SUVs, so - too late

The steel wheels definitely came out of the parts bin, and the parts bin might have been marked somethingi like 1986. That takes some cojones, Ford. But yeah I know, under $20k. Of course they go away at higher trim levels. One thing that can’t be unbolted though, the indented wheel arches at all four corners . . .

GALAXY NOTE PHONE. The dead-screen-pull-out-the-stylus-and-write-a-note function is just tailor made for this kind of thing. Yeah, this is a rather old post at this point, but I just wanted to add this. The author and a lot of people in the comments mention, “This is great but I already carry a phone and I don’t

Uh, ears are analog, not digital. SOOO. . . the audio ALWAYS gets turned into analog at some point. Whether that happens behind a headphone jack or inside a tiny bluetooth headphone or in a separate DAC unit . . . the little speakers pointing at your eardrums are analog, baby. With wireless buds you have no less than

You can easily use very little water washing dishes by hand. Why do people always say this? And how do you have the slightest clue how much water the dishwasher uses?

Here’s what I found really thinking I wanted to upgrade two of my Win 7 boxes, but decided NO WAY. Basically, if you have Win 8 or later, go ahead (probably). But from Win, it’s just ugly. 1) You will have to REINSTALL ALL YOUR PROGRAMS. Yeegads. 2) A couple of programs you have may well not work on 10, I found three.

You can clean a fork beautifully with a paintbrush.

No name. Nada, nil, nothing, nichts. Not necessary. Why have a silly nickname. Just N works perfectly, and is so blessed short. It’s kind of how Ubuntu always has a superfluous silly animal name (with adjective further glomming things up) and I can never remember which year.month version of Ubuntu that was. Far more

If or more likely when the watch can REPLACE your phone, that would be pretty awesome. I mean, I use an Android tablet a lot and it’s usually just as close to hand as my phone. At this point I would rather pick it up than my phone to do a lot of stuff. I can see just using a watch as a mobile phone/puter, monitoring

F.lux works well on pc. It’s like being able to change the color temp of the monitor. I use it all day, warmer at night. On Android all the apps are lousy, like a dirty red filter -all the blacks and greys are also red, and contrast is destroyed. Good for bed reading I guess, but not general use. Video and photos look

Backflip to me would be seldom used, would far rather have a detachable tablet thats far lighter, as this does. If you can flip this around and snap it back in to achieve the backflip position, well that seems a whole lot smarter, two birds.

Good idea. Hook your credit cards and bank accounts into an unreleased beta service on the internet.

Have tried a number of these and results for me have been disappointing to useless with bad and glitchy connections.

I’ve ridden Shinkansen on a number of trips to Japan. A major reason they work so well there is that there are trains and subways and trains stations (not just high speed) all over and in virtually every town. Even their long distance bus systems are superb and efficient. In fact on my last trip to Japan on one 150 mi

I almost never lose keys, phone, or wallet. My wife loses these things quite a lot. I think it’s exactly because I wear clothes with pockets that fit these things, and she almost never does.

Putting things “down” and putting them “away” are usually very different things. “Down” will be a highly visible high traffic place like your desk top or kitchen counter. When you put something down it’s often because you may want or need to pick it up again really quickly.

Looks like a good bike at a very decent price - but that’s partly because so many electric bikes are overpriced which I would say is anything over two thou.

Cool. I did not know the linesman splice. But can’t help but wonder: why not just a square knot? Good conduction contact, great holding power, everyone (well . . .) knows how to tie one.

This is not even close to everything I need to know. How does this hook up to your home? Does it just have outlets that you plug corded appliances or lights into? Something like that wouldn’t even need a permit. Or does it hook into your home to supply power to already wired outlets? That would definitely need a
