I’m not a game developer, but I am a software developer, so my response is: come on guys.

When you have a choice between a chain and a locally-owned there is no choice - it is the social and community-minded choice to go local.

I guess EA doesn’t want to make good games that people will want to buy? From an outside perspective this doesn’t make any sense. Respawn has been solid with their games and the Star Wars IP.

I cannot, for the life of me, understand what on earth would lead them to cancel a Respawn Star Wars FPS. The Jedi games (licensed) have sold well, Titanfall (original) didn’t. Why would a genre they have excelled at (FPS) with a license that has sold games (Star Wars) not be a shoo-in? It’s absolutely possible it was…
