Agreed, and what irks me the most is that the fix is never the same thing. It could be fixed in one case by enabling volume leveling. In others, by enabling night mode. Sometimes, I have to do it manually by increasing the center channel on my sound bar, since that’s typically where dialog goes.

I would think the best would be for them to scoot the swings closer together, then rotate them 90 degrees, giving us one of these

Working theory: This article was written by a square who has never even seen weed before IRL

Unless it’s a police union, I’m struggling to picture one that’s actively harmful to others

Exactly. And as someone who existed before the internet, I never understood the inclination to trust things so completely on sites centered around user-based content.

Yeah, I agree that the sentiment has shifted to “not even once,” and I too am baffled as to why that is.

The end of the “influencer” trend can’t come soon enough. I use air quotes because I never really bought into the idea that they influence anyone in any measurable way anyway

I would argue that poor management is what drove the collapse, with the bank run being the inciting incident

That’s a solid idea...from the store perspective, they’d be better off doing an estimated price for the fruit and meat to cover a payment pre-auth and a final price adjustment, than they would be for having customers do the leg work themselves

At least where I am, grocery stores seem to follow the trend of fast food joints, of expanding only into existing properties.

The main problem I’ve seen with grocery stores—regardless of which chain we’re discussing—is two-fold:

Agreed. If I had known that the air fryer would bring limp delivery fries back from the dead, I would have bought one MUCH sooner than I eventually did

Unstarred, so I can star this a second time 😉

Or poorly photoshopped Jack in the Box tacos 🧐

Is this god named Nathan or Oscar Mayer, by chance? lol
