Also, you are totally wrong about fzero and super punch out. Both games are phenomenal and the Fzero series has Always been better than Mariokart

Can all be applied to the souls series aswell, that’s why I like it so much. It plays more like a puzzle game in that it gives you only one right way to play and you have to figure out the steps.

No, Im serious. The G&g series share a lot with DS in term of game design. Both games are not a matter of simple action and reaction. Every step has to be made carefully and deliberately with a certain rhythm (in DS it’s the parrying and attacking, in G&g it’s the jumping and running).

Because all of those games are good to very good. Star fox still is fun as hell and,, G&g is basically the dark souls of the 16bit era. It’s not a Plattformer in a classical sense, but more like an elaborate puzzler, where only one way is the correct way and you have to figure it out.
