Pretty much what I was going to say but in much better detail. 10/10 ^this.

Agreed. Thunderbird Super Coupe/mn-12. Great car, wish it was kept around and updated.

Just saying, this probably never needed to be pointed out to any Jalop ever.

Foci = the most pragmatic whip ever. And it drives great. Nobody should need to justify this purchase for you. I am also in the '2-door looks more swift camp' despite having it the same dimensions as the four door. Maybe, slightly better torsional rigidity 2-doors typically offer make it more appealing. I have been

Agreed as well. I thought it was quite good for the same reason.

Neon was never that bad in the first place. And the factory BBSs made that car.

I'd pick the 3.7 as well. Just heard about the Fiesta ST recently, and its already my favorite FWD car hands down. The Civic Si was smart in using a cheap torsion bar rear suspension with struts up front, and its taken too long for a manufacturer to perfect that formula. A stiff rear bar in a light FWD is a good way

Torsional rigidity added to the front, preventing deflection/flex in the strut towers. I have absolutely no proof to back this up but I can offhandedly quote somebody saying it added approximately 1,000 nm/deg. No idea if that's correct or even close to accurate.
