If you're not able to land Gruden, there's always this solid second choice from the MNF crew.

Like I said in another post, I didn't say he was a good owner by any means, just saying that the bar has been set pretty low by owners here in the US. To me he's more of a buffoon, I can live with that compared to the low-life owners here who plead poverty in public to finagle tax payer money.
...or if that fails you can ask Ken Bates to bail you out.
I'm aware of English football and their traditions. My point was since this is a US website, to call this guy the worst owner in sports is a bit of a stretch. Particularly since you got people like Jeffrey Loria of the Marlins scamming tax payers for a brand new stadium. As for Tan, if he can keep Cardiff City up…
I'm not saying I would want him as an owner of my favorite team/club, just pointing out for all his idiosyncrasies it's pretty minor, especially compared to owners in the US (who outright lie to the public while demanding they pay for their stadiums).
I do follow English soccer, seems like most of the vitriol cast at Tan all comes back to him changing the team colors. The team had been blue for a 100+ years and he changed it based on some superstition and the belief it would increase marketing opportunities in Asia (a big source of extra income for big soccer…
Tan's still an amateur.
I guess that means we got a lot of Malaysian owners here in the NFL, NBA, and NHL.
So he's the worst owner in sports for changing the team's color and firing the manager? Call me back when he decides to move the club to Oklahoma City.
Oh c'mon, this isn't 1996, Cowboy hating is so passe.
My focus and direction, as well as that of the entire Yankees organization, has been, and continues to be, to treat you in the same manner as we do all of our players, to have you healthy and ready to play as soon as possible. Good luck.
Sure soccer can be boring but seeing how us Americans are fascinated with a sport where 22 fat guys stand around in a circle for 3 hours with about 15-20 minutes of actual action.
Boring is spelled "J-A-C-K-S-O-N-V-I-L-L-E"
That's true but to put it in perspective: Mark Sanchez has won 4 playoff games.
"No, no, no, Cleveland is actually located in Pennsylvania."
I agree, it's unfair to Chud seeing all the QB's that went down. Having said that, if your current QB options are Brandon Weeden, Brian Hoyer, and Jason Campbell, no offense but you've got a really shitty stable of QBs.
Boom goes the dynamite!
Speculation will immediately fall on Penn State coach Bill O’Brien and New England offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels as options to be the next coach — both of whom are close associates of Browns general manager Mike Lombardi.
Basketball, Wisconsin's undefeated
Might as well root for the Badgers than Kentucky.
