I agree it needs to be handled better, having said that, the difference is that you had an epidemic of football players dying way too young (starting to rival pro wrestling).

Houston's path to the postseason
I need the balance of $2,500 to make the necessary arrangement,
If that was Jeremy Lin he was describing, THAT would be racist.
Obligatory: "our brave fighting men and women"
I agree, good help was hard to find back then.
...if Wilshire racially abuses a black player and bites several opponents, I suppose Wilshire will get a one match ban.
...I agree, totally unfair for Suarez, with his clean record and all.
Well, compared to soccer, teams like Washington Redskins are pretty stable. The old joke about Chelsea is that "there are two types of Chelsea managers: interim managers; and interim managers who don't realize they're interim managers."
It's weird seeing a craigslist ad that doesn't have the term "BBW" in it.
What has he done that's so significant, especially to warrant a contract extension into the next WC. For all I know maybe he'll take us to the semis but until that happens (and with their group drawing, I'll be happy if they get more than 1 point) no reason to treat him like he's something special (getting foreign…
To your first point, yes, you are right, you didn't say that, for some reason I inferred that.
You act like qualifying for the WC is some big huge deal. The US has done it every year since 1990. The way the qualifying spots are set up, it's hard NOT to make it if you're half decent (see Mexico).
Because Klinsmann has a s0-so past. Everyone keeps saying "he took Germany to the semifinals of the 2006 World Cup." Great, never mind the fact in 2002 and 2010 they also went to the semifinals. He also failed miserably at Bayern Munich not even last an entire season. You might blame the players but Louis Van Gaal…
In international soccer, going through a litany of managers doesn't always mean you're bound for disaster. Brazil went through three managers in less than a year right before the 2002 World Cup which they ended up winning in dominating fashion going 7-0-0.
