So Temple has to pay to play at Lincoln Financial Field (or whatever they're calling it)? I thought it was taxpayer funded so since it's a taxpayer funded school, shouldn't they naturally play for free (or at a big reduced rate)?

We were debating offensive genius/subway meatball marinara Charlie Weis.

I thought for a sec the headline was "Seahawks player impregnates Russell Wilson to get dinner reservations."

...but keep in mind the one's from Alabama have different breeds of hicks.

Yeah, that's pretty fucked up of the station to get the picture and name wrong. Nelson Cruz must be rolling in his grave.

This whole Bridgewater/Manziel is like the modern day JaMarcus Russell/Brady Quinn debate.

I guess Deion has a fetish for British ladies.

He looks more like Tony Atlas to me.

...and the other 35% are huge fans of "Wilson Russell!!!"

+1

On a serious note though, it's embarrassing how little sympathy the NHL community has for these guys. No wonder NHL players have been screwed so often, seems like they mistake "tradition" for a lack of common sense. For crying out loud, they had a swindler running the NHL player's union for years (Alan Eagleson).

....I suppose

...yeah but the mom is white so it's clear she has a "mental illness."

...seems a bit more South Carolina-ish if you ask me.

The Boston Globe released this photo of the mom:

Now playing

Should have played it in the US, stuff like that NEVER happens here.

A lot of people are deeming these former NHL players suing the league as going for a "cash grab." If that's the case, why are they suing the NHL?

I love all the people who tell players and workers to "shut up and work/play." These are the people who usually work unfulfilling jobs (although they don't realize it) and brown-nose their way to the middle. They lack the self-respect and dignity to question others and wonder why they get treated poorly (see NFL

...and nobody ever accused hockey players of being smart. Say what you want about the NFLPA but at least they never had a fraudster running their union for decades all the while being in the owner's pockets (see Alan Eagleson).

What does you working Saturday nights have to do with NFL players playing on Thursday?
