If he called Rachel Dolezal any kind of anti-black racial slur as a joke in front of a room full of black veterans being honored, it would not be okay just because the target warrants criticism. A slur is a slur, and using “Pocahontas” as shorthand for a Native American woman is a slur.

If you think Trump is being sincere in challenging Warren’s dubious heritage claim without a hint of racial animus, or with some sense of the “real issues of race,” maybe you have given up on caring about anything.

It’s entirely possible that he is that stupid.

The big difference is that drawings don’t age. Unless they recast these roles, the actors will have to move on (especially for immortal characters like Thor).
