It has been a very long time since I've played LoL ... could never really get into the big DOTA craze when this particular genre started to kick up ... however, what's so wrong in using cross-platform APIs and development platforms? I'm taking a gander here that Riot are using some Windows-specific APIs which don't

Something to add, achievement-wise —

You'd never know unless you read the fine print. But even if you can't make the American versions, maybe there's a Canadian version of certain trivial game shows.

I'll probably end up picking up Rock of Ages on Steam— looks like a little bit of Monty Python-inspired hilarity, based on some of the videos I've seen. Plus, I think the PC version has the "troll face" boulder from what I gather.

Ever thought about trying out for different game shows? Apparently, certain kinds of "useless" knowledge might prove some use in certain trivia game shows, like Jeopardy and Who Wants To Be A Millionaire?

That blonde dude in the Dueling Analogs strip must be some kind of filler person during days when a decently drawn strip can't be accomplished for that week. Though, I guess when the author has to endure Hurricane Irene from last week, it might make sense why this guy is on this week's DA strip. However, I think I

I can't possibly be that bad, can it? I don't know who to point fingers at— did Bioware contract Kotobukiya to make this, or did Kotobukiya purchase a license from Bioware? Then again, it might not matter.

I don't expect it to run at 1600 or 2000 speeds ... however, when I rebuild my computer next Spring with a new motherboard and so on, I can use this memory on the new board which then the memory will be running at full speed instead of partial speed.

That's what I figured— every time I read an article about Comcast here on Kotaku, 80% of the time, it's usually really bad.

I figured it had to be a "legal term" of some sorts ... personally, I'm no religious type, so I end up questioning "Acts of God" every time I read that on a contract that I could sign as some companies tend to interpret that differently, and sometimes requests they elaborate that in writing before I sign my life away

Sometimes, I'm a bit leery about the term "Act of God" ... what about your atheist, agnostic, or customers who believe in other deities? Or rather in the other end of the spectrum, how about those who believe that anything and everything that could possibly happen such as something mundane like someone taking a No. 2

I'm in the market for some extra memory for my computer, but I also intend on upgrading the entire unit some time next spring, which usually means I salvage things from my old computer to put in the new computer. For example, oddball things like memory readers, DVD drives, and the sort are usually cannibalized from

Well, it's still interesting to somebody. If it's not informative, then it's probably entertaining for the subjectively hilarious vulgarity of the password. That in itself is usually news of some sorts ... sometimes, an "Oddball" category of news postings can prove something.

Just and FYI — almost every "Slow News Day" post usually warrants in some kind of ban (at least it does in other Gawker blogs). If not that then it just gets thrown into the #cornfield ...

Are you on that side-quest that Adam's girlfriend's mother gave you soon after you step into the streets of Detroit?

I don't know if this statement still holds true today, but back when the competitive gaming (or "esports") scene started out, almost every player out there used wired devices. They say that wired devices produces no lag while wireless devices may be subjected to input-lag ... I'm guessing because of RF interference or

I know three of four GameStops around my area still has a stash of older PC titles— the stuff you would normally find on GOG.com.

It's good to know that there's some level of dignity left in the corporate world.

You're right in a technical sense. After all, it seems to be the only logical way to do it for non-Windows users and those who don't own a dedicated console that can function without an internet connection, like a PS3 or 360.

You could try calling OnLive's customer service and see what they can do about it. I can't guarantee that it would work out, but it never hurts to call them up.
