Don't mind if I do!

Aww, this made me miss my Border Collie, Lexie. She used to try to herd my guinea pigs when they had out of cage time.

I'd check out Midnight in Paris, even though his part is fairly small (he's F Scott Fitzgerald) but he makes a pretty strong impression. Also, The Deep Blue Sea is a great movie, though it is intense and his character is not especially likable.

Well if I keep repeating to myself that I don't need one of those Funko Loki bobble heads, maybe it will come true.

I love that he just puts his heart into it even though his voice isn't the greatest. It seems like he'd be a blast to have a drunk sing along with (I'm thinking Paradise by the Dashboard Light).

Ooh, I hadn't thought of kitty litter! Good call.

I'd say start with your state's website to see if there's any links or guidelines to see what you qualify for. You might also be able to locate the specific agencies that handle the kinds of assistance and benefits you're looking for and see if there's someone who can help you out.

I'm slowly making my way through The Avalanches, who I discovered when I randomly remembered a song I heard a few times and the only thing I could remember was the "That boy needs therapy" refrain (Frontier Psychiatrist).

If nothing else, it's good to know I'm not the only sufferer. :) If I can find an icy, empty parking lot I might give that a shot.

Anyone have some ideas on dealing with anxiety about driving in snow/sleet/freezing rain? I've never been in an accident but for the last two years or so the prospect of driving in bad weather has gotten made me super nervous. (I've suffered with depression and anxiety on and off for most of my life, usually worse in

Yeah, Odin is pretty blatant about his apathy towards Midgardian (and even Asgardian) lives. He even basically tells Jane and Thor to their faces that Jane won't survive having the Aether in her and that he doesn't give a fuck. I could easily see him passing that mentality onto his children and it's likely a prejudice

You know, that does make sense. Until this film, we didn't see enough of Frigga to know the extent of her powers, but both her abilities and fighting style are similar ro Loki's. I also always had the impression that Loki was part Jotun and some other race, which explains his height, why he has hair even in Jotun

One of my exes started a blog that was full of pseudo-intellectual musings on random crap. Like kind of student essay-ish but not really. It became a hate-read of mine for a bit.

Yeah, Hogun was basically shunted off to the side about 20 minutes in! The Warriors Three are supposed to fight together!

OMG yes. I saw it yesterday and I've been itching to talk about it with someone. I will say it gave me a new appreciation for Darcy since her role was expanded. Still kinda "meh" about Jane, though. Was hoping we'd get more Malekith, since I enjoy Chris Eccleston immensely, but it was a shame he seemed under-used.

Loki in the library, insisting that Gods don't have to pay overdue fines.

I call Anise Spice!

Ugh. It seems like as I get older, the more I find out about the Pythons, the harder it is to enjoy their work.

I have no scary stories (ghosts just don't seem to gravitate to me for some reason). But damn do I love getting freaked out reading about other people's experiences.

I had something similar happen when I was in grade school with talking duck toy (Murdock the Duck) that randomly went off inside my toy chest one day even though I hadn't played with it in years.
