Ahh my mistake. I've never stripped USB cabling before. I thought that they weren't shielded but they are now that I look into it. 8x diameter is the rule for unshielded cabling. 10x diameter is the rule for shielded cabling.

A cable's bend radius is a function of how thick the wire is, how much insulation it has, and how much shielding.

I tend to typically use Aviate and Google Now. Google Now I keep around for simplicity and having a backup if Aviate crashes.

I used "lil_will_dude@hotmail.com"

Run linux off a drive and be able to update it? Mobile OS...

If anyone was interested, I quickly jotted down how to set a generic drive up to the same level I had set up mine. Nothing overly in detail but a general quick what order to set things up in.

Haha I seriously doubt it.

YUMI allows for persistent multi-booting.

I'm Ubuntu/Fedora fan boy myself but with the random assortment of work that I do, I like carrying around all my distros at once.

I went the unconventional route:

As another poster had mentioned in another thread, check out YUMI. Personally I like the tools that come with XBoot but it's personal taste.

I've used YUMI before but I'm fond of some of the features XBoot provides (helpfiles/QEMU/etc). Personal preference really at the end of the day.

Well I'm storing a full offline backup of my Dropbox as well that syncs when I plug in my drive. Along with all of the ISOs, scripts, and games I'm pretty close to 50GB

Is it that obvious I work in IT? XD

Create the Swiss-Army Knife of Flashdrives

I knew I couldn't have been the only one to pick up on that. There is no good reason for any console to have a number of controllers that is not divisible into even teams. End of story.

I have to agree with this. The "You Tried and That's Good Enough" mentality is just sickening. I'm all for telling kids that their effort will yield results but the idea that we don't associate anything with success is ridiculous! Welcome to the real world where people care whether you did the job or not. Effort

When I was using DoNotTrackMe I was seeing a little lag upon initial loading of Chrome. Haven't been seeing it so far in this app. The interface is a little more user friendly.

Thankfully it doesn't have any of those "achievements" that DoNotTrackMe was using. I'm going to give it a good fighting chance. Not to mention

The comment system is definitely in need of some reworking. As it is, I literally cannot follow any thread of comments. I think a mixture of the old system is necessary here.

When I'm browsing the top level comments, I can usually tell whether I want to be involved in the sub-comments. So to me, 99% of the time,

Thank you. I was thinking the exact same thing. If you want to try a real MUD then head over to mud connector and find one that suits your fancy. People still play them to this day. And they are an awesome programming side project if you're looking for something to do.
