Agree, agree, agree. He’s definitely the primary asshole in this situation.

Okay, but “Not a girl’s girl” is a brutal kneecapper of a line. Bet that one follows her around for awhile.
Down in H-Town the car itself doesn’t matter. What matters is the swangas
As someone who spent lots of time in front of big speakers at alternative and hiphop concerts in the nineties, all I can say is:
I spent a lot of the ‘80s blasting Van Halen
Hopefully yes. But I’m not that smart, and I spent a lot of the ‘80s blasting Van Halen. So it could go either way on noticing for me.
Blah, blah, blah...
“(There are others who see copyright as one of the greatest failures of modern human society, and that all art is built upon that which preceded it.)“
God that’s irritating. If I am an artist and I take inspiration from someone else’s art and try to weave it into my own style, that’s leagues different from if I teach a…
Parodying society isn’t at all the same as doing “issues of the week” like south park. Most of their classic episodes are random like the egg-salad sandwich worms making Fry a genius, Slurm willy wonka, amazon women, the fem-puter, Omicron Poppers, the brain war that was parodying 5 year old Starship Troopers, etc.
The trailer seems really “topical”. Pandemic, crypto, meta jokes about streaming platforms. I don’t remember original Futurama being very topical, but the reboot did it more like with the iPhones.
You really think it’s strange that pedestrian deaths are increasing in an era in which every third car on the road is a full-size truck/SUV piloted by some numpty that can’t be parted from their phone for 30 seconds?
You’re right, it has a definitive look: shitty.
Sure. But composers with a lot of Kontakt sound libraries really did replace orchestral musicians for a lot of low and mid budget work. Much less session work goes on for film and tv soundtracks.
Every time I see someone impressed by “AI” “art”, it’s inevitably the most brain dead, uncreative person imaginable.
Huh, that was my mother's maiden name, I wonder if we're related?
Anyone who is okay platforming Joe fucking Rogan has no right to call *anyone* a grifter.
I mean, have you opened up a Gizmodo or AV Club article from 2012? None of those classic commenters are here anymore and a lowly article back then got 5x the number of total comments as in 2023.
Speaking of which, gonna make a shameless plug here for my active Lego Ideas submission, based on the “Voyage of the Jerle Shannara” trilogy:
Boebert is *exactly* the type of person you sort of knew in high school who you *have* to stay Facebook friends with because she’s nonstop drama, fights, 911 calls, text screenshots, etc.
Even just from the trailer this is so clearly hysterically well-written why oh why are they ending this series?? There are series (which may remain nameless) which are utterly exhausted by comparison and they have no designated end. (dang it, explore the back story of The Alchemist if nothing else)
