HTC = little guys? Not how I define 'little guys'. A company with just shy of $10 billion in revenue isn't a small company that can't handle a lawsuit.

I'd like to start off with that I dislike the software patent system we have in this country. Its unfair and stupid.

While I dislike having to pay more, in the grand scheme of things, the extra $6 is really not that much more a month. $16 a month for the ability to get as many DVDs you want AND stream what you can is still less than a night at the movie theater (after you price in snacks) and less than buying a new BluRay when it

You could look at it as now they can have yearly updates to all of their devices using iOS (iPod Touch, iPhone, iPad) at one time, and have their WWDC used for showing off the OS advancements instead of new hardware (it is a developer's conference after all) and reduce the number of events they have to spend money on

I like this idea, however a couple worries:

AFAIK same normal iPhone download rules apply with the download over 3G...anything under 20 MB is ok...over requires WiFi.

iOS 5 doesn't sync your music via cloud. It can sync with your computer over WiFi that has nothing to do with the cloud, but the music is always stored locally. What they have done instead is track what songs you have purchased from iTunes and allows you to download the same song as many times as you want to the

Its on the left side at the top.

About the only similarities to Japan's issue and this are that there's a power plant.

All in one TVs are generally avoided for a reason: one component, like the DVD player, breaks and suddenly you have to either buy a whole new TV or get a separate box anyways.

Movies have been seemingly 'tanking' more and more often nowadays. Quality and over saturation has it's part in it, but I bet is as much of a response to the cost of movie tickets and the economy. Comic based superheroes have always been a kinda niche market to begin with, but the flashy special effects drew people

The same argument could be made that the other guys are now zagging where nintendo was years ago (motion control) while nintendo is zigging back in line with them (HD) and a bit further with the multi-screen aspect.

I really don't see the issue with syncing your phone. I don't do it daily, but when I do, just before bed, plug it into computer...it charges over night and syncs. Not complicated at all.

How exactly could they ever expect to enforce this anyways, assuming it doesn't get thrown out quickly?

That doesn't mean they have no cases there, that means they did not provide the creators of the map resource with the data from the health department so they just grayed it out instead. On the full map its noted at the bottom for the few completely gray states.

Maybe most of your music comes from other sources, but iTunes is the number one (or very close) right now. Maybe everyone's older stuff isn't purchased through it, but I'll bet a good portion of recent stuff is.

LOL

9 colors.

He HATES not being able to buy beer on Sundays after work.

Hey same here Johnny! No 3d for me either. Just more expensive to see it in IMAX and wear funny glasses
