Considering they are focusing on trying to advertise the new phone and its current features available at launch, rather than new OS features planned down the line, they could just be choosing to hide it for now.

@Paul_Is_Drunk: Thirded. The movies are too recent to reboot. I would think this would cause some major confusion with the casual fans of the movies. Personally, I didn't think the first two were that bad. A little more directed at kids than the comic fans, but it worked for the series, in my opinion.
