This strange, amateurish play is appalling. The kick in the back isn’t good either.

It was a bad joke.
The people being honored did not necessarily fight for our country. The ratio of combat veterans to all veterans is fairly small I imagine. Even for those who fought, that does not automatically make them a ‘hero’. The whole thing is phony, unseemly and jingoistic before you even find out that it’s bought and paid for.
Congrats on your hollow “rah rah” brand of patriotism. Everyone appreciates our military I think but wearing a uniform does not make someone a hero. There’s no need to get all weepy at a sporting event over it. The whole spectacle is just phony.
Why the malevolence? It’s an advertising campaign. I don’t stand up and cheer for the Dunkin Donuts race either.
So, do we have to cheer at the next baseball game when they do the ‘Hero of the Game’ thing? Feels odd now that I know it’s a paid promotion by DoD. Can I just sit and finish eating my Polish sausage?
What happened to you? I’ve only seen it with large loans or credit card debt, not with the little stuff described in the article.
Yes, and it is called Cancellation of Debt Income.
Cancellation of debt income?
Why would Brady ever give up his phone to some idiot “investigator” with no actual legal authority? The NFL is dumb.
You can listen to it in the background and work/do other things at the same time. Can’t do that with video and writing. Podcasts are basically how multitaskers consume their media.
“Listen here, principal. The client is making a big stink about your big stink. Wash up and get back here in 20.”
Well aren’t you just a miserable shitehawk today?
“All this proves is that Barry and the Seattle Weekly perpetrated a sting operation against the Seahawks.”
Scouting report: “Active hands, drives through contact. Tends to find holes and sneak up on defenders. Relentless on the attack.”
Dear God.
