the foaming is way over done and exaggerated here.

This isn't about being cynical. It's about being realistic. And a game lead by an art direction studio may mean they'll want the gameplay to modify itself to the direction they want to take the game, vs the way many studios do it which is to come up with a concept for the gameplay and mold the game around it.
Concept art does not a good game make if you don't have talented individuals. I don't know who these exeperienced programmers and designers but I can tell you right now this has a chance to end up being a bad/mediocre game if gameplay elements take a backseat to art direction and story. Hopefully it isn't the case.
I like mulitplayer as long it not tacked on or it's the primary focus of a singleplayer franchises (simcity).
I play games for awesome stories and escapism. Competitive multi-player in most shooter games usually comes down to twitch reflex shooting ... which for me gets boring after a while. Maybe LOL or DOTA 2 would be fun but I hear so much awful shit about both their communities. I don't think I've seen a co-op game that…
Am I the only person who doesn't get the appeal of two obnoxious douchebags being 'LOL RANDOM'
The story may have been, but the game play certainly wasn't.
You are wrong. RPGs must have stats. If it does not have stats, it is not an RPG. This is the way the genre is defined. If someone asks you to recommend them a good RPG, they are asking for a protagonist driven game with stats. If you gave that person a game without stats, you would fail to meet that person's…
No, the creator can call it whatever he wants, but To The Moon is not an RPG. It is interactive fiction.
To The Moon is not a puzzle game. It is interactive fiction with a few puzzles thrown in.
I think the only RPG about it is the fact that it was made using RPG maker.
In that case literally every game is a role-playing game. Even Pong, since you're playing the role of a paddle.
Wasn't to the moon more of a puzzle game than an RPG? I mean I understand that RPG can be loosely defined to be many things but I thought it was generally agreed that for a game to be an RPG it at the very least needs character level-ups and maybe equipment?
So if a man draws those he's a sexist misogynist scum and he needs to be scorned and ostracized but if a woman draws it she needs to be praised and empowered?
Monster Hunter is hugely popular in China. Everyone who has a PSP, gets it for Monster Hunter, and then download the hacked Chinese translation. It got to the point where pretty much every time I rode the subway in Beijng, someone had their PSP out playing Monster Hunter.
I am pretty sure MH has more fans in China…
Girls in cosplay don't want to be objectified but here's a Moxxi grabbing her boobs. The sense this does not make, but good great cospaly nonetheless.
Can't pause online games bro!
Rule 63 =/= Originality
Gonna be a dick and say that you guys need to stop promoting every zelda knock off you come across. There's just too many... You literally just promoted one 2 days ago. Maybe wait for a demos, play them, pick one and promote that.
