Well, for starters, they’ve avoided transphobic remarks that are present in the comic.

Hes not struggling with it, he’s actively fighting back.

What I don’t get is, were they even jokes? The “Team TERF” shit just sounds like...an opinion he has. Not a joke was told, no humorous observations were made. You have people losing their minds, “the SJWs are murdering comedy,” but this is just Old Man Yells at Cloud shit.

Attention. He lost his touch living in Ohio for a decade and then he went on tour but the problem is he’s fucking Dave Chappelle. Audiences are just pumped he’s there so they’ll laugh at anything. I used to listen to a lot of stand ups talk about how long its take craft a good set and how much you have to work at it

Surprise Puma, that’s exactly the one! I wish Kinja wasn’t so busted, I could pull you out of the greys.

I can’t find the image set now, but someone at one point made one where a person was like on CNN saying, “I’m being cancelled!”, then had a Netflix special called something like “Cancelled”, then had a whole book they wrote (or at least got someone to ghostwrite for them), called “CANCELLED”. It was a joke, but

“In order to a woketard”

He talks an awful lot for someone who’s cancelled

These are the kind of people defending him right now. If this is you, you just proved everyone’s point.

Absolutely, and as an aside to this, at least Eddie Murphy has come out and pretty much acknowledged how icky those sets were

About 10 years ago, some roommates and I decided to watch Eddie Murphy’s “Raw” from some time in the 80s or 90s. We were excited, because it was standup he did in San Francisco.

The bloated and rich don’t have a lot of ability to distinguish between “being cancelled” and “getting pushback for saying something kinda shitty”.

“I’m a bad motherfucker” is so cringey. Like, people don’t like you because you punch down, and that makes you a bad boy? Okay, Dave.

“What we need to cancel is hate.”

People who are into EvoPsych quakery are total assholes, NEWS AT 11 !

I think the point is that nobody’s shaming men no matter what their balls look like. People (usually men in public, perhaps women more often in private, if at all) often feel the need to comment on women’s bodies no matter what they’re wearing. It’s EXTREMELY well-documented what a problem/obsession society as a whole

Can you really do things for public consumption and claim that it’s a private matter or none of anyone’s business?

What amazes me is that we are so used to the plumped, pulled, tucked, enhanced look of many celebrities these days that a woman’s natural, unaltered boobs lookweird.” That’s pretty sad.

You are 100% correct, good sir!

Thanks for posting this. Between reading this and watching Lizzo’s performance a few dozen times my Monday is now better than the default level of shittyness these days.
