No, it's scientific language. It's bad science to say that one's study has 'proved' its hypothesis, as there is always the possibility of a research error or an even better hypothesis waiting to be discovered in future.

But Ilium was great! I enjoyed the hell out of it, anyway.

Ooh! I'm adding this to my 'to read' list for sure. Which is already incredibly long, but I'm sure one more can't hurt, right?

Fascinating. It would be interesting if research or the right kind of selection pressure eventually could result in some kind of cognition resembling ours.

Truly shocking. And to think it was only a few thousand years ago that people just knew that it was women who were always thinking about sex due to being more emotional and concerned with the flesh, while men were concerned with higher, intellectual pursuits.

There seems to be an excessive emphasis on sterilising every surface as if it's somehow healthy, to the point where I have to search the supermarket for ages to just find a cleaner that only breaks up grease instead of also

Yeah me too, it would also be great to have a herb and veggie garden on the roof also. All the delicious fresh food!

Interesting, it kind of reminds me of the design work of the artist/architect Friedensreich Hundertwasser.

I had that same thought! Maybe Rex's immortality isn't quite as permanent as Jack's...

But I love Matt Smith! His Doctor is oftentimes a really a great callback to some of the earlier portrayals of the Doctor. Reminds me of the first and second in particular.
