I live in university housing. It's a small room and I don't share it with anyone. I have a tiny TP-Link router (it's a really cool router, BTW) without Ethernet ports (except for Internet input) wirelessly serving an iPad, iPhone and a MacBook. I get a healthy 40 Mb/s down that way (wired Internet actually gives 90

I hope the game turns out to play like this. I roleplayed as Niko in GTA IV, but when I hopped into multiplayer, there was chaos everywhere. People running around, driving recklessly, shooting randomly all over the place...

I prefer the Rearth Ringke Slim case. Doesn't give superb protection from drops, but it's the slimmest, least bulky case I have seen. It's like having a simple skin to protect from scratches and adding some slip-resistance. I even forget that there is a case on my iPhone.

iPad 2 user here. I use it a lot. I would say that the primary use is Netflix (since I got an iPhone; before, it was reddit and Netflix). I also use it to take handwritten notes (college) and to browse reddit/web. Sometimes I read Kindle books, but the Kindle Paperwhite is better suited for that of course.

Who exactly made a Star Wars set with USS Enterprise on it?

Hahahaha! I clicked the Facebook link only to check why LH would post a photo like that.

Holy crap! That is a beautiful wallpaper.

Same here. I can never justify spending more on headphones because they die eventually. But then people say that expensive ones last longer. Don't know what to do.

Penultimate ($0.99, iPad, handwritten notes) for me when I go to college. It backs up to Dropbox and exports to Evernote. I'll start using the latter when Penultimate gets deep integration from the acquisition (hopefully).

You can set it so iOS does that.

That requires quite a bit of bandwidth. But yeah, if you have a 1 GB app to download and don't have that much data usage left, you can do that.

I had written an article once about how (specifically) iPad should implement a multi-user environment. Here you go: http://www.rightnowintech.com/2012/07/android-getting-user-accounts-how-ipad.html

Are you sure it wasn't confirmation bias?

Can be fixed by scrolling to the bottom and tapping on "Desktop" in the bottom right corner of the page.

Or simply transfer the iTunes folder to the new computer and choose to load your iTunes library file by holding Shift when starting iTunes. You will have your old iTunes library, ready to sync.

"Purchased apps" has been part of iTunes forever as part of "iTunes in the cloud beta."

42? Nice.

Um, the slide to view notifications was a highly touted feature of iOS 5's Notification Center since the very beginning.

I love the Quick Search Bar addon. Makes it even easier to use search. And it makes your bar look good too.
