Slot cars, anyone?

Oh, I didn’t know that. The article lead me to believe that it was a dedicated racing car.

No, but I wouldn’t want to even if I could.

Comparing a race car to a road car isn’t really fair. My Honda-Fit powered Formula F could lap faster than a street-spec 918 at most tracks.

Something just feels wrong seeing a crown on a US military uniform.

For people who know very little about the conflict (i.e. me), what is it about the Falklands that is so desirable?

Hey, I’m in that picture!

How does modifying a Lamborghini troll Ferrari?

It's still awesome to watch! I went to see the F1600 Series (http://www.f1600series.com/) at Watkins Glen this October and the top 2/3 of the field were nose-tail the entire time for both races.

No Amalfi Coast? It's the most breathtaking place I've ever been. Seriously, when you're there it makes you feel like you're cheating life just by being there.

Caterham's doing it too.

Can you PLEASE not illustrate articles with Gifs? it's unbelievably annoying.

It would be the equivalent of Bernie Ecclestone continuously feeding funds into Red Bull Racing in Formula One.P

There is an outdoor shopping mall in my hometown of Pittsburgh PA, that I have always thought would make an amazing (albeit incredibly dangerous) kart track. Karts would be racing around and in front of well known national and local restaurant, bar, hotel and movie theater chains. Also, all businesses could remain

My only experience in a motorcycle at Laguna Seca is dropping an MV Agusta from a standstill in a crowded paddock (long story...), but I can imagine the corkscrew is a very different beast on a motorcycle. I'm sure the drop and all the camber changes are much more disorienting when you have to balance on two wheels.

I must disagree with the Corkscrew. Sure it's legendary, but IMO it's the most overrated corner(s?) in all of motorsport. There's a blind entry, but it's easy enough to pick out a braking point and before you even get to the turn-in point you can see enough that you have plenty of reference points. After that you just

The Spanish airports could be seen as a failure of infrastructure spending, but I prefer to see it as an investment in Spanish motorsport! Do what the English did after World War 2 and convert them all into racing circuits! Suddenly they have a fantastic club-racing scene.

Not a direct answer to the question but I thought it was worth sharing:
