1st Gear: I would flat out, buy one today if it was a sub $20k single cab 1/4 with a decent bed. I miss my 1993 Isuzu pickup if the carb hadn’t died I would probably still have it. It wasn’t fast but the body and frame were solid.

A better solution by the carriers would be to give people back their leg room by making the whole thing feel like less of a sardine can and then everyone can recline. And about 4% of the US population is 6'4" or taller.

How about checking with the person behind you before reclining? I mean you’re the one who is reclining and encroaching on my tiny amount of space. And I am fine if you only recline a small amount about 2" anything more and I end up with bruises.

Try it.. be prepared to back it up. I generally ask nicely first. Asking if you can sit up a little. I don’t care if you recline slightly but more than about 2" and I have bruises on my knees. The pettiness begins when you don’t want to be decent. If I have to I just call the flight crew over and get them involved.

You mean 5 other months. Our summer starts sometime in April and goes into October. Its not 3 months long its 7, and unless its night time or raining its generally 90+ degrees outside during our summer.

Personally, I never really thought that those barriers / walls were about stopping noise pollution as much as about creating a safer environment for areas that line the highway giving a buffer to prevent high speed traffic from entering someones backyard, home or a store front.
