The vast majority of folks aren’t going to notice a .6 second increase in 0-60 time. The MPG drop is somewhat unpleasant, but in the grand scheme of things you’re still getting 45+ MPG. Far better than most vehicles.

Prowler looked like it should have been way faster. Yes, I realize it was actually “decent” for it’s time but no where near what you would call “fast.”
Now it’s certainly a car I would hate to describe using the words “the worst”, but I have an unhealthy desire to own a Volvo 240 (sedan or wagon).
Easy!
I want it.
James Deans 1955 Porsche Spyder. He was on his way to a motorsports even, wrecked, died, and they started showing his car. A few days later, his car mysteriously disappeared. This one theft has generated the GREATEST mystery in the automotive world.
“How fast does that thing go?”
I love Britain because people can be famous and successful media personalities, despite being born with this head.
The Plymouth Prowler - Look at it.. It looks fantastic... and yet it sucked. It is the automotive equivalent of the 90’s. All of the looks, all of the promises, yet falling short of expectations in every way.
Anybody who grew up with or owned a Volvo 240 wagon. Sure the Turbos were fast in their day, but most of us never got to own one. This car was all about being smart on the inside and handsome in their own way. They were bulletproof and could haul anything. More importantly, how many of us had this as a first car? How…
You mean like this:
Although, yeah, the interior is a little much for me.
46L V12 in a car from 1908 on tires that were so skinny they'd do better on a bicycle. Oh and it gets 2.35 mpg, this is the car EPA fears most of all.
ICON Bronco...
Obvious answer is obvious
And I thought it was just for getting planes out of your yard!
I think it was because it looked so radically different to anything around it but a distinct middle school memory of mine was sitting next to a Prowler at a light. It had a truck on one side, SUV ahead of it and we were in a Suburban.
I don't care how cynical anyone else is about it but this has me pretty excited.
Hydrogen filled Airships. Supposed to get around the lack of Helium but you know what is great about Helium? There is a lot less explosive potential.
