I believe Villevenue has often said he definitively wants to write/direct movies for the first 3 books. As those were the ones he personally grew up reading and has an affinity for. Which, I’m all for him getting to do. So let’s cross our fingers and hope it happens!

I get what you’re saying about Chalametand I had my reservations too. But  really, he was quite good and from the trailer for Part 2, he definitely looks to be digging deep into the well for a great performance. I really loved the first part, can’t wait for the second.

Post Malone loves MtG so much, he has made guest appearances on Magic the Gathering related Youtube channels. He like, really really REALLY loves Magic and wears his nerd heart on his sleeve for sure.

All together great news. My only knowledge of Post Malone (I couldn’t tell you a name of a song of his) comes from all the nerd-adjacent interviews and content he has taken part in. He genuinely seems like the nicest guy and also a super fan for a lot of nerd culture things.
