I just saw that last night and I found myself wanting to turn it off the entire time and utterly unable to.

Season 1 was uneven, but the episode where we get to see the world through Sissy Spacek/ Ruths eyes was one of the most sad, touching, beautiful hours of television i have ever seen.

Yeah, I don’t think the character having that opinion was the issue, but they could have been more explicit about highlighting the nuances. Especially because to me that scene also seemed to be about educating the audience.

Yeah, they’re supposed to be confused teens figuring themselves out. That’s basically the whole schtick of the show.

I’ll throw in one of my favorites, which is surprisingly readable and enjoyable despite its age:

I don’t know if there are better mystery books today than the old masters. Sir Doyle, Dame Christie. There was a reason they were knighted. Amazingly good books. They aren’t nearly as cliche as you would think.

To be fair, the show has done little to no build up of David’s multiple personalities.

Don’t forget Amazon Smile (https://smile.amazon.com), They give 0.5% of your purchases to the charity of your choice.

The Endless was a great surprise. You may come across the fact that this is a semi-sequel to their other film Resolution. But I think seeing Endless first worked better for me, since I wasn’t prepared at all for what was to come.

And all of it can just as easily be undone in a handful of generations if we do not uproot and cast out from society those things that allowed this massive problem to go ignored and denied for decades — dogmatic religion and inequality. Both are the bane of a civilized society. One erodes and destroys social cohesion.

i once bumped into ron howard whilst boarding a flight from new york to la - i told him i’d be stopping back by mid-flight to pitch my willow 2 concepts.

You completely and utterly fail to justify skipping the flu shot. 40% is better than the complete lack of risk reduction that happens without the flu shot. Spreading the flu can kill. That’s the entire gist of this article — Is your questionable justification for skipping the flu shot really worth the potential harm

50% effective is better than 0%.

You know how effective not getting a flu shot is at preventing the flu? 0%.

Apparently it did have one complication, it turned you into a mouth breathing moron incapable of understanding how safe the vaccine is today. Either that or you were just stupid before.

Well in their defense you do sound like an asshole.

If this is your reaction to the story, then it was absolutely meant for you.

The similarities between that 40 year old incident and the annual flu vaccine are definitely enough to justify an end to flu shots. Smart!

This is an excellent headline.
