Disagree - not about Scrooged, it’s a classic, but there is one other excellent reimagining and it’s the Muppet Christmas Carol. Just a delightful movie.

It’s...nice, but what’s missing for me is an immediate and powerful indicator of the scale of these Jaegers. Sure, there are ships in the scene, but it could just as easily have been perceived as a bunch of humans in robot suits walking off the beach. Thus, count me among the flaccid and intumescent.
