I thin k the bottom line is; you have to want an electric car to even be interested in one at any price. Your average car owner knows nothing on how it works or how long it will last, and now GM wants premium prices on a entirely new product that not even GM knows how long term reliability will shake out.

So Ive been told. Though a cool concept that doesn't happen sucks too.

The ones they use in Indycar still look like one with a long rod sticking out. Modern F1 cars are also equipped with anti-stall technology so they have fewer on track stalls when they spin. But if they do you'll see them wave to the corner workers asking for a push start.
