Not surprising. I’ve been seeing everywhere people tying themselves up in knots trying to come up with some kind of criticism to cover their homophobia. Looks like the most popular choice is to say the episode had no purpose.

I would SO watch a spin-off of Bill and Frank. Like they’d have 16 years to mine for content, and they likely had other tense encounters though out the show, and possibly even worked with others.

The only problem would be that we already know how the story ends so the stakes would be difficult to keep high, but still.

I’m pretty sure their argument is exactly the reason why people don’t want Microsoft taking over more of the videogame market. Because everything original they’ve attempted sucks.  And everything that was good they’ve purchased they’ve driven into the ground with bullshit and microtransactions.  

I think they want to avoid “FEMA puts people in camps” because enough morons in the real world actually think that already and there’s no reason to pour fuel on that fire and assist with the real life damage created by the terrible decisions those people make.

Because right-wing conspiracy theorists hate having their feefees hurt and will start raging on Tucker Carlson’s show about how the show is too “woke”? Just a guess.

That was one charming and deeply moving hour of Sunday night HBO indeed.
