So, does that mean Clone Wars, or the new Rebels is not canon then? Honestly, the Clone Wars TV show actually gave me a reason to care that Anakin turned to the dark side in Episode 3. That tv show went a long way to make up for the stick in the mud that was Hayden Christiansens performance.

Of course the new Rebels series is going to be ANH influenced. It takes places literally years before EP 4. I mean, for the sake of consistency shouldn't any media around that time period be influenced by ANH?
