I agree. They're not refusing service, they're apparently refusing to make specific items. Businesses do this all the time. If a straight man wanted them to embroider a shirt that said "I love having my balls sucked" they would have every right to refuse to make that.

It's fine to want a different cast than the one that exists. Just say you want it. Don't say it should be that way. It's a desire, not a moral, ethical, or social imperative.
