Is this a joke?
Is this a joke?
This is something that the people who frequent Gawker sites should attempt to understand.
Ha, what fairy tale New York do you live in? I regularly hear people in this town say shit to each other that could strip paint. "Tolerant" is not a word I would use to describe New York.
Every single thing in the world is built on a mountain of violence. Everything.
Clearly Jay Z was standing in front of the emergency stop button. Solange was worried about the pan-dimensional spiderwraiths waiting to ambush them on the first floor, so in a moment of inspiration she thrust a mighty kick at Jay Z's balls, hoping his flattened scrotum would press the button and bring the elevator to…
50 yard line of a Div 1a football stadium.
I agree. They're not refusing service, they're apparently refusing to make specific items. Businesses do this all the time. If a straight man wanted them to embroider a shirt that said "I love having my balls sucked" they would have every right to refuse to make that.
Let's not, because that claim is absolutely not true, and it needs to stop reverberating around the greater Gawker echo chamber. Any entity can engage in censorship. It is not restricted to the government.
How is this any different than this:
What an odd thing to post 26 hours after this was posted:
I realized that my earlier post is somewhat unclear.
Either everyone gets a say, or no one gets a say.
It's shrill screeds like this that makes my voting for Democrats such a sour experience. What a pathetic thing to encourage people to politicize every interaction they have with another person, in particular the members of their family.
No one decides. No one has permission to give. There is no culture authority. Do what you want.
No one is offended by this stupid video.

What's the cutoff point? Am I stunted for feeling that my ancestors from 3000 years ago are strangers to me? What about mammals from 15 million years ago? When would it not make me stunted? When would it not be sad?
In what way are they not strangers? Has he ever met these slave owners? Has he ever even met anyone who knew them?
