It is not the same. And it is sometimes better - and I say this as a Brit. Some of the acting in the Dobb's version is hokey pokey cokey and smells of ham.

I watched the original—it's good, but this is better.

Dumb question here. If they don't teach cursive, how will they teach students to sign their name? I ask because I sign my name in cursive, and previous experience working in financial aid has informed me that printed signatures aren't legal because they are so easily forged. Have I been misled, or is this a problem

I'm an old fogie at heart. As such I will be teaching all of my children cursive through elaborate holiday and birthday schemes and cards, which dictate to them where their gift has been hidden. If they can't decipher the message, they can't get their stuff.

I just can't agree on the sets. The urban fantasy theme was inspired, but the actual execution was often too drab for such a campy, magical setting. That dark, gritty, seventies film stock didn't help either.

I think it definitely deserves a remake. The sets and music are pretty magical; it's hard to go wrong with Quincy Jones at the musical helm. The missteps are Diana Ross and Richard Pryor in main roles... It would be cool to see a remake that doesn't totally stunt cast— would love for all of the players to be singers

Yeah, but a musical should be more than just the quality of it's songs. The Wiz makes the tremendous mistake of wasting a clever premise, great music, and amazing cast on what turned out to be a really ugly and boring film. Now that is a musical that deserves a remake.

The Wiz over The Wizard of Oz?

You kidding? Have you seen a map? You can see their dick from space

I also find too big a real problem.

I am going to repeat this again, and again.

You could have gone any direction from Downtown Orlando and found a place to do all of that very quickly. I lived right outside of UCF and I could do all of that stuff with only a few minutes travel on my bike.

This is bleached, right? Her natural color is darker than this. She looks a *leetle* washed out here.

Why didn't they just make the human legs be the horse legs? An 8 legged horse is just silly.

A part of me just wishes Xtina would rock some au-naturel hair once in a while. Yes I get the blonde-bombshell schtick but that chica is so pretty and she comes off looking so over-processed. Surprise me girl, break outta that Monroe-wannabe mold once in a while!

Wish she would try a more natural looking hair color... looks nice though. Pretty lipstick.

Look at a wonderful Wonder Woman I would make.
