Without looking at her network history, I have to assume Heche has some contract and rather than buy her out, they just keep dumping her in throw away roles to fill 22 minutes of time every couple of seasons. OR they really really really want her to happen at some point. I dunno. I liked Men in Trees but I'm aware I'm

CNN mentioned that they were actually hit by another Category 5 typhoon earlier this year (in September). So somebody there is speculating that they might be better equipped to handle this one and the citizens might be more inclined to evacuate and listen to the government. So here's hoping they have a plan and it

It cracks me up when people try to generalize about an entire group of people off of what can only be their own personal observation and speculation.

I am also going to jump on the Croc's are amazing and F you if you don't like them wagon. Especially if you're standing around in some kind of high heel stiletto European equivalent to Chinese foot binding. Just because you bought the patriarchy's bullcrap about sexy doesn't mean I have too. Comfy, healthy feet for

As a nurse, I have to say that Crocs are the shoes of the gods. They are so comfortable when you are on your feet for a long time. Added bonus: easy to clean when someone vomits, pees or just generally excretes on you.

I never said I wear them to weddings, but camping, fishing, hanging around the house... yeah, I'm wearing Crocs. The same pair I've had for almost 10 years, too. They're pretty much impossible to wear out.

I'm going to second you on this. They're comfy. And now that they have different designs other than the clogs (which there are a time and place for), they don't have to be an insult to good fashion.

...Have you seen the Rose Parade? It gets very good ratings (I mean, what else are you going to watch on New Year's morning?) and so these companies get good exposure, especially since they don't just show the floats, they describe them, sometimes telling a background of the sponsor, the inspiration for the design,

Is the answer chicken korma? I would loooove to put my mouth on some chicken korma right now.

Pirates used to get gay-married for companionship and so that their plundered assets were protected back in the day.

UGH. this is the attitude that kept me from coming out til i was 20. honestly, if i could just be straight OR gay, i would be! it would make things so much easier, and i got so many hurtful comments when i came out: "why can't you just pick one?" "that's weird." "it's probably just an experiment." why would i go OUT

I don't see how this "decides" anything.

Women, white people and people who said they were a member of the lesbian, gay or bisexual community were less likely to have negative attitudes towards bisexual people.

I'm bisexual. Fucking nobody buys it as a legit orientation. You're either experimenting, looking for attention, or in denial. Queer and straight communities. I generally keep it to myself because I'm sick of hearing it.

Seconded. The fact that anybody is defending these guys is bad enough. Then, just to make things worse, the epic victim-blaming by the police and a lot of commentators is beyond awful. HULK SMASH.

Good. Now ban HFCS as well.

Good. Next, start properly labeling GMO foods.

Because everyone likes a sandwich.

Ugh.
