I actually only saw a short couple seconds, so I wasn't sure. Someone else showed her actual warm-up and now I agree that his comment was unfounded.

Good to know! Thanks for showing us that she does do more than dance fabulously!

Everyone in this thread apparently has no idea what it takes, physically, to pilot a luge sled down these Olympic-caliber courses. While I think it's great that she dances to relax and get ready for the race, I totally understand where he's coming from in his comment. Still, I think there's a way to mesh the two so

It's like a modern version of Eliza Doolittle's day at the races outfit.

I'm glad you're pleased with the opening ceremony. I thought it was absolutely gorgeous and extremely well done. I don't think any country will ever top China's ceremony, but this is the 2nd best I can recall and I've been watching the Olympic games for a very long time.

Cause let's face it. We're killing small babies here.

If you mean the Monkees, you'd be incorrect. While they didn't play their instruments on the show, they did play them on tour and have since their first North American tour in 1966-67.

This particular idiom has been in use since the 1400s. It has absolutely nothing to do with the derogatory term. I wouldn't have even thought that it could bother someone because that term has nothing to do with the idiom itself. I'm kinda glad you pointed it out.

What bothered me even more than the "Stop crying..." was the "Look at me!" How Claire didn't just go off on him is beyond me. Between the slut shaming and his control issues, I wouldn't even be interested. He may be hot, but he's a first class arse.

Thanks for posting that. I grew up believing the only person who loved me was my grandmother. Her death when I was in my mid-20s was a terrible blow to me. Even now, I'm pretty sure my mother loves my sisters, but I feel like she merely tolerates and/or respects me. Maybe it's because I'm the eldest and she didn't

See, I think that's awesome! It's nice to see guys moving away from the ball cap look. The right hat can provide the perfect finishing touch to the outfit. And rock on with your tux and top hat. You'll do Fred Astaire proud!!

I concur. Fake personas should only happen in cosplay or LARPing and they don't always require a hat.

A man in a hat can look awesome! It's the idea of a fake persona to go with it that seems to be the problem with the dude in the article.

You left out Sherlock....

If you can find it, my favorite vintage Spader is Tuff Turf. RDJ is in it, too.

I agree. I actually think he's more handsome now than he was when he was a "pretty boy". Now, he looks like a grown man and not a boy toy.

I couldn't agree more! I threatened to throw my shoes at the TV if she said "grown sexy" one more time. Luckily, they were bedroom slippers, so it didn't hurt anything.

Granted this is anecdotal, but as a very middle-aged southerner I hardly ever hear people refer to any soda as "Coke" these days. It was definitely the case growing up, but not in the last 10-15 years.

Unless they've changed their ingredients, it contains camphor and eucalyptus, but not rosemary.

I want the bracelet!
