Not only is Michael Nesmith still attractive, he's so damn funny! His FB posts crack me up. I think his bandmates have ages rather well, too.

Are you sure? I don't have time to go research it, but I thought he did a lot of interviews and photos in a tux to try and wrangle the part and was never offered it. Kinda like Sean Young and Catwoman.
At first glance, I seriously thought it was Madonna.
I'm only 5'5", but I used to lift weights a lot in my late teens/early 20s and my shoulders are really broad. I'm not overweight, but I can't imagine how uncomfortable being jammed in airplane seats is for someone larger and/or broader than me. I'm also all legs and always feel cramped, so I can really empathize with…
In the 80s my ex was the spitting image of Emilio. He would even have people stop him and ask for his autograph! lol
Boy Scout troops have adult scout leaders who wear the same uniform as the kids.
I have those in pewter. They're not very attractive, but I can walk more than 8 hours in them without pain in my feet/knees/hips. They're very comfortable.
Thanks for mentioning why some of us are relegated to not-so-fashionable footwear. I have RA, as well, and while I can wear lovely shoes for a short period of time (2 hrs tops), if I'm doing any walking or standing for longer periods of time, my shoes have to be seriously comfy and supportive. I try to find the cutest…
I thought the switch in POV in the third book was very sloppy as well. She basically gave away the entire ending at the beginning of the book. Still, I thought the decision made sense for the character, even if it isn't how I would've preferred to see it go down.
The act of tattooing themselves is a trait revered by the Dauntless faction. As far as fining it attractive or not, that's definitely an individual taste. I think it's hot and I am not the YA the novels are aimed at.
You didn't think the end made sense? I thought it made complete sense given her original faction and the esteem with which she held her parents and their beliefs. I also thought it was foreshadowed throughout the entire series.
I ask myself the same question every single time I walk into a church (usually for family-related events). The only answer that makes any sense is that people are afraid of death and are hedging their bets on an afterlife.
My mom and sister are on WW and it kinda drive me nuts. The only good things to come of it for me is that someone is almost always willing to split a dish with me (portion control I'm good with) and they avoid dessert much more than before (which makes it easier for me to do the same). The talk about points and the…
It seriously looks like monkey bread.
I think after a lifetime of collecting, you just end up with so many decorations that you decide to up the ante and get a 2nd tree. It's all downhill from there. I currently have the main tree and a more rustic tree in the sun room (not sure what to call it - it's more than a front porch and calling it a Florida room…
I'm curious. How you think the mythology makes no sense? The Capital uses fear of the reaping and the games to keep the other districts in line. They force the districts to labor and provide goods/food for them with the fear of corporal punishment/death for non-compliance. It's natural that eventually the districts…
Exactly when I get around to washing mine. I can't imagine how tight they'd have to start out if I could wear then indefinitely without washing them.
I started drinking Coke for breakfast back in high school (in the 80s). I gave it up 4-5 years ago and switched to coffee. Since then, my IBS has been pretty much under control and I've lost 20 lbs without even trying. I will still indulge in a Coke maybe once a week, but that's it.
That's the one thing I've always wondered when they talk about not teaching cursive writing. Perhaps they expect everything to go to digital signatures?
Please don't speak for "every kid" out there. I was a kid once, and I'd take the consistency of my single mom over a complete set of my parents any day. My dad and step-dad were both assholes. I'm actually glad they weren't around when I was a kid.
