Too late for the school to be moaning. The requirements were vague at best. The school had the chance to object to her shoes, and she probably would have changed into the standby pair her mother had on her. The school officials didn’t object to her footwear when they had the chance. To be freaking out now is too late.

Except she didn’t get the chance to even put them on. She passed inspection (whatever that was) and that was the moment for change if the school had required it. After the ceremony, that’s just too fucking late.

That’s what I thought too. As far as I knew, god was both male and female, and is once (?) referred to as giving birth.

Great exercise for dogs? :) Dogs can run/walk great distances, and dogs like huskies or hunting dogs need a lot of exercise. Just a walk around the park is just not enough to wear them out even a bit. A person on a bike goes faster and can keep going for a longer period. Also great for people with bad knees like my

You don’t pay taxes to get stuff for you personally. You pay taxes to get stuff for the society. John Green said it well; he pays taxes for public schools, because he doesn’t want to live in a country filled with ignorant people. (who incidentally won’t be able to buy, or read, his books.)

I looks like an unbreaded schnitzel to me.

Yes? :P As far as I know, the only reason you should be tested is if you fuck something up and you did it because you were high or your job performance is falling because you use drugs. Otherwise your employer has no business butting in your personal life. That’s in the Netherlands, and I know German laws favour

That is a part from Fantasia 2000.

Ah, didn’t know many of them were so young! So perhaps the number (though still high) is a little less insane. :)

I would argue that women in service are probably older than most unplanned pregnant women, because most unplanned pregnancies occur in teens (as far as I know). So it is still a lot. And in any case, half is too much too. That is one of the insane things I found out about the US. That number is insanely high.

Clearly I’m not nearly as skeeved out as almost everyone in the comments. I always understood that cousins are genetically different enough as to be (almost) total strangers, and is the entire human population not related anyway? The only other thing that seems to bother people is familiarity. But that doesn’t count

I suspect that all books that are read by book clubs are shite. I’ve once thought about joining a book club until I saw their reading list. OMG what sadness.

My trick is to put in a drop or two of contact fluid. It doesn’t work on waterproof mascara, but it makes all of the others fluid again.

Duh *facepalm* I was really awake :P Thanks

Here (Netherlands) tampons and pads are classified under bandages, plaster etc. So the lowest tax applies to them (6% as far as I know there is no 0%) same as with other medical supplies and food. Because they are essential. Tell those women to try and live without them for a while. See how essential they are.

I like that too, mostly because after I’ve read what they’ve done, I’d like to do a comparison with the before photo and see what’s different and see what products were mentioned in the description and compare that too. :P

I have blue eyes too, and I’ve always learned that the opposite colour is the best for eys, so blue-orange (or gold). I’ve tried orange, and it really makes my eyes look incredibly blue. I also have lime green combined with yellow, and while it sounds super bright and garish, it really looks great. :) So blue

Now playing

John Green has done a great introduction to this;

Oh man, I’m such a sucker for stuff like this. :P *tears up*

:( That is so sad. I have nothing to say but that. My heart almost breaks for the kid.
